Starting at age nine, Alyssa began performing in local church shows. She joined El Dorado Musical Theater and for five years took multiple dance, singing and acting classes (including advanced jazz and tap) and performed in numerous shows. At Ponderosa High School she’s enjoyed lead roles as Cinderella in “Into the Woods”, Dorothy in “Wizard of Oz” and Belle in “Game of Tiaras” to name a few. She also directed her first show “Radium Girls”. Most recently Alyssa performed at Sutter Street Theater as well as choreographed shows including “Be More Chill- The Revival” and “Legally Blonde”. In May, 2022 Alyssa will graduate from Ponderosa High School and Folsom Lake College with two associate degrees. She plans to continue in theater and teaching dance for many years!
