Tessa is a Biola University graduate with a degree in Communication Studies - Speech/Drama emphasis. Tessa started taking ballet at 3 years old, and has loved dance, music and theater ever since. She is a classically trained pianist with experience teaching children as young as 5 years old, and has also been on the worship team at her church. Tessa learned the fundamentals of singing in the Amador Children's Chorus. She took private voice lessons in high school, and recently enjoyed singing with The Capital Chorale in their winter and spring seasons. In addition to ballet, Tessa has also taken classes in lyrical, modern, jazz, ballroom and swing dancing. Some of her most loved theater performances include Melody Truelove in the melodrama "Because Their Hearts Were Pure," Volcano Theatre Company; Nora Helmer in "A Doll's House," Biola Theater Company; and ensemble in "Joseph... Dreamcoat," Woodland Opera House. Tessa is overjoyed to be a part of CYT and share her love of theater and music with you!
