Teacher:

Kim Dahlstrom

Kim has enjoyed doing hair and makeup since her early teens, and got her Cosmetology License at the peak of spiral perms, mullets and big hair. Her decade of professional experience included working as a hair stylist, teaching hair cutting techniques, doing makeup for a local photographer and competing in local and national hairstyling competitions. It has been her pleasure to volunteer on the hair and makeup team at CYT. She loves the challenges, such as learning to style wigs, create hair pieces like Queen Victoria's bun for the show A Little Princess, and how to create bruises. Most of all, Kim really enjoys getting to know the students and helping them bring their role to life. She is excited to share her skills with the creative, adventurous students at CYT.

Teacher:

Iris Dahlstrom

Iris is so excited to be teaching at CYT. She is a CYT alumni, and has been involved and been in love with theater since she was young. She has been providing childcare in one form or another for about 5 years. She is so grateful she gets to share her enthusiasm and passion for theater arts with your kids!
