Description

Come learn to harmonize together! There is nothing quite as cool as singing in a duet, trio or quartet and striking that perfect chord. Whether it’s the Jersey Boys or the Beatles, a barbershop quartet or a female trio, harmonizing makes your ears tingle!  This class explores the techniques of harmonizing with other vocalists. Learn blending, listening skills, how to hold your part, and create basic chords within a duet, a trio or a quartet!


CLASSES/CAMPS REFUND POLICY-

ATTENDANCE: please make every effort to attend ALL classes.  Students missing more than two classes are in jeopardy of not performing at showcase and attendance may affect their role in a show, if they are currently cast in a show.

NO REFUNDS OF ANY KIND OR CHANGES 2 weeks before the first day camp/class begins. Prior to 2 weeks a $25.00 cancellation fee per class is applied to refunds. Refunds are returned to the original form of payment. Camp/class changes are subject to availability. Tuition must be paid in full in order to register online for camp/class.

Michelle Winberg

Michelle Winberg holds a BA from Vanguard University of Southern California in Psychology with a Minor in Music. She started performing when she was 5 years old and fell in love with all performing arts. Throughout her life, she has trained in dance, voice, and various other performing skills. She got involved in a theater company in Southern California where she performed in countless musicals, including Hairspray, The Music Man, and Annie. While she was in college, she continued her musical training and was selected to be in a specialized quartet, focused on excellence and performance in special events. Additionally, she worked at Disneyland in many different performing roles, starting as a character performing and moving up to management, learning lots along the way about various avenues in Entertainment. Since moving to Folsom with her husband Kyle and dog Wolf, she continued her education at Sacramento State University, where she earned her teaching credential. She currently works as a Middle School Math and Music Teacher in Sacramento, sharing her love of the arts in a different environment. She is so excited for this opportunity to work with CYT!
